Duct Heaters
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Duct heaters from National Plastic Heater are composed of, tubular, finned tubular or open coil heating elements that are either flanged or inserted in the duct. A duct air heater is generally an assembly of tubular heating elements ready to mount into a duct but it can also be an open-coil resistance wire assembly mounted into a duct. Tubular Heating of proper rating, material and shape can be used in most heating applications. Finned Tubular Air Heaters are designed to suit particular applications. There features include: steel sheath material, high quality MGO compacted to provide maximum heat conductivity and optimum dielectric strength, 80/20 resistance wire sized to provide the lowest watt density giving long superior life. Duct Heaters are used in a variety of air and gas heating applications. These are intended to be installed in existing ducting and can be mounted in any direction. Thermostats, thermocouples and high limit switches can be incorporated.

Forced Air Duct Heater - for Industrial Process Heating Only
Ovens often require re-circulated air, or forced circulation, to perform the desired heating task. A duct heater mounted in this re-circulated air stream is an effective way to provide this heat, without having any electrical connections inside your oven.
Typical Applications
heat treating, up to1000F (540C)
curing
baking
drying
batch heating
conveyor systems
